Smoky Mountains

We left bizzare Gatlinburg yesterday morning and drove over the Smoky
Mountains (pic). It was so nice to feel the cool air at altitude.
On the otherside we stopped for lunch in Asheville which is a lovely
town in North Carolina with fantastic old art deco architecture.
From Asheville we drove straight onto Winston-Salem for the night.
As an aside, it is 2 weeks yesterday that we arrive back in London.
Weird!!
That’s no way to be thinking – you still have the length of a ‘normal’ holiday left – enjoy it, North Caroline looks wonderful.
Plenty of time to think about the real world when you are sitting on the plane.
